As the Senior Designer for Denim & Wovens at Bestseller Fashion Group China from February 2014 to September 2015, the main role involved collaborating with the Creative Director and Design Manager to develop successful menswear collections. This included building and managing a team of local designers across three categories.

Key responsibilities and achievements included:

Team Leadership and Development: Improving team output by managing critical paths and deadlines, developing the existing team, assessing roles for maximum effectiveness, setting targets, and fostering a cohesive working environment through daily/weekly meetings and team-building activities.
Concept and Design Management: Creating seasonal concept and mood boards (including fabric, detail, and color), collating information from all departments to create consistent new concepts, briefing design teams on concepts, and guiding their design process.
Data-Driven Design: Initiating the design process by analyzing sales reports and bestsellers to ensure designs were market-aligned.
Production Oversight: Managing critical paths and deadlines for menswear (woven bottoms, trousers, shorts, denim jeans, shorts) and women's denim jeans and shorts. This also involved visiting suppliers and factories, attending meetings to brief collections, reviewing samples, and overseeing the entire production process.
Strategic Collaboration: Attending strategy meetings with all department managers and the creative director.
Efficiency and Marketing: Setting key performance indicators and critical paths to manage workloads and ensure efficiency, and cooperating with external parties (photographers, models, stylists, marketing, visual merchandisers) for ad campaigns and fit guides for denim.
